Short biography

Born 1948

I studied biology at the universities of Freiburg, Kiel and Hamburg.

Then I worked as a biologist with the main focus on electronmicroscopy and parasitology
at the Bernhard-Nocht-Institut in Hamburg, and at the Universities in Düsseldorf and in Bochum.

Since 1989 I am house husband. (My daughter is born in 1989, my wife is physician)

And since that year I became engaged in nature- and landscape-photography.

From 1994 until 2010 I was working with the large-format camera.

In 2008 I began to use stitching techniques.

Since 2013 I shoot more picturestories. That ended up with the production of two multimedia shows.

Show No. 2 wich was presented the first time in 2019:Eastpolish Gem - The Upper Narew and the Neighbouring Villages

Since 2016 I manage the AG Naturfotografie of NABU Münster
