Short biography

Born 1948

I studied biology at the universities of Freiburg, Kiel and Hamburg.

Then I worked as a biologist with the main focus on electronmicroscopy and parasitology at the Bernhard-Nocht-Institut in Hamburg, and at the Universities in Düsseldorf and in Bochum.

Since 1989 I am house husband (daughter born 1989, wife is physician)

and since that year I became engaged in nature- and landscape-photography

In 1994 I started working with the large-format camera

In 2008 I began to use stitching techniques
